The Beginning Administrators Academy provides “new” administrators with valuable lessons and information that can help make that critical first year a success! The two-day sessions are designed to address the challenges and issues that confront administrators during their initial assignments. Content will include the following topics: The Principal as an Instructional Leader;Legal Concerns and Issues (OASSA legal counsel Bricker & Eckler); Code of Conduct; Teacher and Principal Evaluation; Dealing with Staff and Parents; Utilizing and Understanding StudentData; School Safety; School Budgets and Administrative Contracts. The Academy is designed for two separate sessions, September 11/12, and December 6/7. If you have new administrators in your district, please encourage them to enroll and attend! In order to receive the reduced rate, you must be registered for BOTH sessions by September 13.
