The High School Principal of the largest high school in Ohio will develop systems to promote and sustain exceptional academic achievement. The MHS Principal must think in a visionary, global manner and collaborate with stakeholders to prepare students to thrive in college or career.

Successful high school leadership experience working in a multicultural school district.

Passion for ensuring that all students have access to high quality educational opportunities.

Ability to create welcoming and supportive school climate that fosters creativity, diversity, integrity, risk-taking and trust.

Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, including the ability to translate strategic vision into processes and execute against goals.

Proven leadership skills with exceptional ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with school leaders, staff, teachers, parents, students, and community stakeholders.

Ability to self-direct and prioritize among competing goals, exhibit flexibility, and drive results in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

Master's degree or higher, valid Ohio Secondary Principal's license, or ability to obtain; 5 years successful classroom teaching experience, preferably grades 9-12.

A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
